I've never been one to buy into the whole "remastered" thing when it comes to music. Most of the time they just bump up the bass and treble and say it's "remastered". Dude, I can do that in my car. If you want my money get the master tapes and completely redo it. And that is exactly what Jimmy Page did on the "remastered" SONG REMAINS THE SAME SOUNDTRACK. This recording is phenomenal. Now included is all of the missing songs from the original. BLACK DOG, MISTY MTN. HOP, SINCE I'VE BEEN LOVING YOU, OVER THE HILLS AND FAR AWAY, etc. But the songs that were there have been remixed to sound incredible. Wait till you hear Plant's vocals on NO QUARTER(that song always was the highlight of the soundtrack for me). Trust me when I say that this "remaster" is worth every penny. And since it's Christmas Time get it as a gift so it's someone else's penny. GO GET IT!!!!!!

Oh Come On!!!!

From Sean Patrick's blog about the VH show:

Though I would have loved to hear Poundcake, When it's Love, Right Now, or Best of Both Worlds......

This is just rediculous. Everybody knows that DLR Van Halen is the only Van Halen. When Sammy showed up the word "catchy" went out the window. I'm tired of arguing about this but if you take the best Sammy/VH show you saw and put it up against the DLR/VH show you just saw. I think you know the winner.

I'll update in another month.....MAYBE SOONER!!!!!
